About Me

I am a natural-minded mom who believes in science, loves coffee, wine and books, along with cooking for my family and getting dirt on my hands in the garden with my kids or hiking in our Utah Mountains. I’ve got a couple of free range kids who crush at ninja and are almost better skiers than me now. We love our time on the trails in the summer and slopes in the winter.

I feel closest to the spirit of the Universe when I’m outdoors and in nature. The photography I do is a combination of my love of people’s uniqueness as well as seeing their spirits light up in the beautiful places of the world. That’s why the majority of my photos feature not only YOU, but also the stunning backdrops that Utah provides.

Although I love to travel, I despise flying and sometimes wish that we still had to travel by train or boat. I am an introvert with a big voice and a strong personality, who loves adventure, but is afraid of crowded spaces and, for some odd reason, bridges. I fantasize about booking a hotel room by myself with a giant tub, fluffy bed and comfy chair by a window for when the next Outlander or ACOTAR book finally arrives. Plus, being an obsessive reader has lent me quite the vocabulary (FYI – I’m just as likely to drop the F-bomb in conversation as I am “folderol”). And just to be clear, I believe that Love is Love and that families are not exclusive to hetero-normative representations. I believe that Black Lives Matter and representation matters. Our public lands deserve protection and I practice Leave NO Trace in both my life and my work. All bodies and identities deserve to be photographed and celebrated!
